When creativity isn’t flowing like it should…

Sometimes the ideas in our mind are stubborn and won’t translate onto paper that particular day. Yesterday was one of those catsdays. My fresh sewing machine needle snapped, then the machine started the chew my fabric… none of my drawings looked right and my parcel of new supplies hadn’t arrived. To top it all off, it was raining.

On those kinds of days you can either leave it and take a break, or try and power through. My attempt at powering through is always making something primitive and impulsive. I got a scrap of board, a stumpy paintbrush and blobbed some splodges. When it dried I drew on top.
